- The package contains 20 individually packed sterile dressings. Total size of each dressing (adhesive border): 6" x 6" (15 cm x 15 cm). The size of central pad (non-adherent): 4"x4".
- This is dressing is composed of a non-adherent central pad covered (to be placed on wound) and an adhesive border (to be placed on skin around wound).
- The dressing is water-resistant, not waterproof. This characteristic reduces the risk of maceration.
- Can be used as a primary dressing (for wounds with minimal exudate) or as a secondary dressing (for wounds with heavy exudate). Secondary dressing refers to the role of securing another dressing that can absorb more.
- Latex free. LATEX Test Result: Not Detectable (ASTM D6499-18 Inhibition ELISA). Performed at A2LA Accredited Lab (USA).

Safety Information
Do not use Areza Medical Island Wound Dressing (Bordered Gauze) on patients with known sensitivity to any of its components. Do not use on third-degree burns. Single Use Only. Do not reuse or re-sterilize. Do not use if pouch is damaged or open. Non-waterproof, water resistant. Water and liquid can pass through the adhesive fabric backing, but the central non-adherent, viscose fiber pad may delay the water or liquid to reach the inside layer of the dressing. The dressing may need to be changed if it is wet from external liquids. Colored liquids, such as urine, can discolor the outside of the dressing. For fragile skin, it is recommended to prepare the skin with commercial skin protectors on the areas where the adhesive tape will be applied before its application. If needed, use medical adhesive (glue) remover to remove the adhesive residues on the skin. Do not use soap, alcohol or other chemicals to remove glue residues. Do not scratch the skin to remove glue residues.

Directions
1. Cleanse the wound with sterile saline or another cleansing solution and pat dry. 2. Position the central non-adherent absorbent pad onto the wound’s surface. Gently press down the adhesive border onto the clean and dry periwound skin. 3. Secondary dressing not required. 4. Change the dressing as needed or as instructed by wound care provider. 5. To remove: Remove carefully to avoid damaging the periwound skin. If the wound appears dry, saturate the dressing with sterile saline water prior to removal. If needed, use medical adhesive (glue) remover to remove the adhesive residues on the skin. Do not use soap, alcohol, or other chemicals to remove glue residues. Do not scratch the skin to remove glue residues.
